Jim, I can surely relate to the sounds of the birds. Birds aren't just my hobby but they are quite calming to watch and listen to. Sitting in the bird room just watching something so small go about their mission without a care in the world is very relaxing. The small tender sounds of their chirp (talking) is so sweet. Nature in itself has a calming effect that alot of us take for granted. God gave us these thing for a reason and we need to use them. Lord knows we need them after a grueling day. Relaxing lets the mind have time to be thankful for the things we have.  oh, can't forget the comfort of a good lap dog (Lacey) either.
I sure she knows when you need her to give that extra bit of love and comfort. Hope your week goes well. Take care.

Just checking in to let you know I'm thinking/praying every day for you, brother. Jon was here last night when he called you so I'm caught up. I wanted to say something to you but Jon said you were very tired after talking to him so I decided not to. We'll talk on Saturday.

Hope to see you and Carol (Me, Russ, Dorothy and Dave) on Saturday. We're going to the Columbia Arts on the Bluffs Street Fair first and then plan on stopping by if you're feeling well enough for company. About 6 or so? I will call you first.
Love you always, brother. Your sister, Kathryn

Jim,
I have been thinking of you all week and saying prayers for you as you go through the last week of chemo. Thinking of Carol, too, and how strong and loyal she is, standing by you through all this tribulation. You two are very lucky to have each other.
Here's to better days...and many more of them for all of us...together!
I will see you soon. Hang in there, brother! Your sister, Kathryn

Terry,
Thank you for the kind words. You and Fran are good friends and I believe that GOD has put you both in our path. It is no coincidence that our destinies have intersected because I believe that GOD orchestrates everything in the lives of those who believe in HIM.
I don't understand it, but I can tell you that I've seen it in my own life more times than I can count. When problems arrive as they always do and knock you down, just remember that GOD has it under control. He'll take care of the problem, pick you back up, and carry you until you can stand on your own again. Believe it and watch what happens. Take care Terry and Fran!

Mary,
Keep the faith and thanks for understanding mine. With GOD, all things are possible. I pray for you and Earl constantly even as you pray for me. This will keep us all covered

Jim and Carol,
Just drinking my morning tea. Thinking of the good times we had and the good times to come. Taken a sip and pausing to tell the lord how wonderful you both are. Your strength has always been my inspiration. I'm 49 today. Taken the time to reflect. Looking back on the rows of people I've influenced. Looking forward at the rows of people who have influenced me. There you stand, a half step out, smiling, sometimes I see the Bango, sometimes not, but the hand is out and your saying lets go. Finished my tea. Starting my day. Remember it's my turn to grill next. Have a great day.

Jim,
wish I could have seen you Sunday...but I understood you not feeling well. Just so you know Russ and I are thinking of you every day and rooting for you; I say prayers, too.
I hope your job hasn't been too hard on you and those there are helping you and being kind to you. They better!
You hang in there and get well...so you can grow old...remember my dream of you, me and Russ someday sitting on our shaded porches (hopefully we'll have one when Russ retires and we move) when we're OLD and picking and singing together? Maybe you'll even let me sing, even if I'm off key, ha, ha, and we'll remember the old days. You know I cherish those jam CDs you made me of all of us singing and playing. I remember our sweet music-cat Sasha listening at our feet. I often play them and they make me smile. I even play the video CD of us two singing that song we sent to America's Got Talent. It sounds even better now. My treasures.
Hey...we got a new black and white kitten last Wednesday....Sasha Too, but Sasha for short (a male this time) and though he was real sick the first few days we had him he's (after a visit to the vet and medicine) doing great now. He's so lovable and sweet. That emptiness in my heart I'd felt since the old Sasha disappeared is at last filled.
I'm also finally self-publishing my dinosaur book this week on Amazon Kindle as I got it done (took forever it seemed as it needed so much work). Yeah! Wish I had some more of your amazing music to use for its book trailer video I plan to make someday. It does have romance and life lessons in it.
Russ, as usual, is working too hard and is very tired.
Our 34th anniversary is this Sunday! You believe that!
There, we're caught up! Love you always, brother, hang in there...your big sister Kathryn

Hey Jim - so thankful your treatments are over but not the weight loss - be patient - your appetite will be back and just think what all you can eat to get back some of those pounds.  I'm sure Carolyn has you drinking Ensure or something to get you some nutrients.  Carolyn you hang in also - the day will come when you will be telling Jim he is eating TOO much.
Our God is good and is with you in every moment during this season in your life.  Can't wait to see what good things HE has in store for you after this.
Will keep you and Carolyn in prayer!  Don't forget - if you need help with something - we are here.  Need a get together just for relaxing fellowship.  Love & Hugs to both of you!

You may be right Dorothy!  Dave and I are both running a close race for hair loss.  But like you said, who cares?  I think it's funny anyway.

Have a great week!  Hi to everybody from Carolyn and Me!

Hi Uncle Jim!

I love that you have a blog so I can see how much better you're doing every day  Probably makes it a lot easier for you too not having to tell everyone the same thing, and that's a great thing! Hope you're taking it easy and getting rest, but I know that Meyer spirit keeps us wanting to do something. we don't like to just be still.... but sometimes it's necessary. Thinking about you and praying for you.

Love you!
Your niece (Crystal)
